I still love them now and they 'are' still 'America' to me, but I know what you mean. Musically, it was best with those three guy together..vocally, etc., but what can you do? Dan needed to leave to save his life. I'm glad the others' have carried it on. I love them, esp Gerry (it's not Gary). He's the main man in my opinion. But all 3 are equally good really. They all really added to it and had that something special together..that special sound that was just them that is so irresistible.
